Need help joining an event, capturing photos, or opening an album? Start with these quick answers or contact us directly.
Joining an event
Scan the QR code on the invitation or enter the five-digit event code. If the event is not open yet, closed, or full, ask the host to confirm the schedule and access settings.
Camera and permissions
Allow camera access to scan a QR code and capture directly to the album. Photo-library access is requested only when you choose an existing photo to upload or save album photos. You can change permissions at any time in device settings.
Connection and uploads
If your connection drops, pending photos stay on the device and upload automatically when the app is open and the connection returns. The upload-status screen shows photos that are waiting or need another attempt.
Albums and downloads
Hosts decide when the full album opens. Once available, you can view, save, and share according to the event permissions. Albums remain available for 90 days after the event, so save important photos in time.
Reporting and blocking
While viewing a photo full screen, open the three-dot menu to report it or block its photographer. Reports are sent privately to the Sunframe team; blocking hides every photo from that participant in the event for you.
Privacy and deletion
Guests can delete photos they captured according to the event permissions. The event menu includes Leave event to erase access and every photo captured in that event, and Delete all my data to erase every photo and event entry across Sunframe; each action requires two confirmations. Hosts can use Delete host account on the website from the app's information menu. To request access, correction, or deletion help, email us.
